Corrugated Boxes
Corrugated boxes, made from a fluted corrugated sheet and linerboards, come in different strengths called "ply." A 1-ply box, with one layer, is used for lightweight items like a few paperback books. A 2-ply box, with two layers, is stronger and used for medium-weight items like a laptop. A 3-ply box, with three layers, offers the most strength and is used for heavy items like a microwave oven.

Foam/Peanut Filling
Foam peanuts (or packing peanuts) are small, lightweight foam pieces used as cushioning material to fill the empty space in boxes and protect items from damage during shipping. For example, foam peanuts are used to fill gaps in a box containing fragile glass jars
Plastic Wrap/Stretch Wrap
Plastic wrap, also known as stretch wrap, is a thin plastic film that is stretched around the items to secure them together and protect them from dust, moisture, and damage. For instance, a stretch wrap is used to secure and protect a pallet of boxed goods during transportation
Mattress Cover
Mattress covers are protective plastic or fabric covers used to protect mattresses during transit. It also prevents the mattresses from dirt, moisture, and damage. For instance, plastic mattresses are used to protect queen-size mattresses during transit.
Moving Blankets/Shipping Pads
Moving blankets, also known as shipping pads, are thick, padded blankets that protect the furniture and other large items from scratches, dents, and other damage during moving. For instance, a moving blanket is used to wrap around a wooden dining tablet to protect it during transit.
Shrink Wrap, Bubble Wrap, and Packing Paper Roll
