Our Responsibilities
Identification & Classification
We classify the product, ensuring that the substance or article in your transportation meets the definition of a hazardous material or dangerous good. Not only that, but we also identify the dangerous goods by assigning them UN/ID numbers and shipping names based on their hazard classification and composition.
Packing
We ensure that the transportation of dangerous goods is secure and risk-free. Our team uses the right type and good quality of packing materials while packing any dangerous goods for shipment. Irrespective of the size of the consignment, we have years of experience in dangerous goods handling.
Mark
Being a certified dangerous goods shipping company, we ensure all the important details like descriptive name, weight, specification, identification number, instructions, cautions, or UN marks are marked on the surface of the packaging.
Label
Our dangerous goods shipping service also includes labeling the products, which can help you identify the primary and secondary hazards posed by the materials. We are responsible for labeling dangerous goods packages of all classes as per UN specifications.
Complete Documentation
We ensure your cargo acceptance through all the regulations with proper documentation of your hazardous products. Our dangerous goods documentation services ensure that all the necessary papers, including the shipper’s declaration, are prepared correctly.

Classification of Dangerous Goods
While classifying a substance, chances are it may meet the criteria of more than one hazard class. So, the class with the highest hazard level must be the primary class, and the class with the lower level will be the second class. At AIR 7 SEAS, we can help you ship all the below-classified products and minimize the hassles of managing dangerous goods. Here are the class levels for hazardous substances.
- Class 1.1 : Substances and articles which have a mass explosion hazard
- Class 1.2 : Substances and articles which have a projection hazard but not a mass explosion hazard
- Class 1.3 : Substances and articles which have a fire hazard and either a minor blast hazard or a minor projection hazard or both
- Class 1.4 : Substances and articles which present no significant hazard; only a small hazard in the event of ignition during transport with any effects largely confined to the package
- Class 1.5 : Very insensitive substances which have a mass explosion hazard
- Class 1.6 : Extremely insensitive articles which do not have a mass explosion hazard
- Class 2.1 : Flammable gases
- Class 2.2 : Non-flammable, non-toxic gases
- Class 2.3 : Toxic gases
- Class 4.1 : These hazardous products will burn more easily than combustible materials. The combustion of the solids is highly dangerous because they can burn vigorously, decompose explosively, and produce toxic gases.
- Class 4.2 : These flammable goods can be either solids or liquids and ignite spontaneously with oxygen contact.
- Class 4.3 : These dangerous goods categories react with water to create flammable gas that the heat of the reaction can ignite.
- Class 5.1 : Dangerous goods are oxidizers and may cause or enhance combustion by yielding oxygen.
- Class 5.2 : Goods have a molecular structure that’s extremely liable to ignition. They are designed to be reactive and made unstable to be explosive.
- Class 6.1 : The toxic substances that are liable to cause death or injuries to human health if inhaled, swallowed, or by skin contact.
- Class 6.2 : The infectious substances that contain microorganisms responsible for causing infectious diseases in humans or animals. They can be expected to contain pathogens.
